A fuse is a protective element that opens the circuit once the current exceeds its permissible limit, shielding cables and devices from overcurrent and short circuits. Lenze protection devices and busbars are used for fusing either in the mains connection or in the DC network of the drives.
On the mains side, the devices are placed upstream of the drive in line with the connection diagram. When drives are operated on a shared DC network, the protective devices and matching busbars can be used to build that network; Lenze 400 V drives provide a direct DC connection for this purpose.
The range covers 14 × 51 and 22 × 58 cylindrical DC fuses, NH000 blade fuses, two-pole and single-pole fuse holders, and busbars rated up to 100 A. All components are designed for control cabinet mounting.
