Lenze EASY System Designer Drive Planning Tool

Lenze EASY System Designer is a web-based engineering tool in which machine builders plan their drive and automation solutions directly in the browser. It covers everything from sizing a single axis to machine architectures made up of many modules, and its built-in expert knowledge and intuitive interface let users without deep drive expertise reach dependable results. The tool costs nothing, requires neither installation nor a licence, and belongs to the Lenze Engineering Suite.

The sizing wizard takes a handful of basic application details and proposes a validated drive solution that can be used straight away, saving time and lowering planning risk at the start of a project. Users who want more control can switch to expert mode to modify the proposals or choose alternative products. The Machine Design function models the entire machine – electrical, mechanical and software components – broken down into functional modules, and modules planned earlier can be reused and adapted in new projects.

Projects are kept on a central cloud-based platform, so colleagues, customers and Lenze specialists can work on the same project together. Selected products can be passed to EASY Product Finder for pricing and ordering, and project structures can be handed over to PLC Designer for software development. CAD data, EPLAN macros and technical documentation are available from the first planning step, and step-by-step video tutorials walk through all of the tool's functions.
