The G500-B + M500 + i550 motec Bevel Geared Motor is a compact, powerful drive unit made up of a G500-B bevel gearbox, an M500 three-phase motor in efficiency class IE3 and an i550 motec frequency inverter mounted on the motor. The integrated inverter allows stepless speed adjustment and places the drive electronics on the machine rather than in the control cabinet.
Shaft dimensions follow the market standard and standardized flanges are used, so the drive fits easily into existing machine designs or replaces an older unit.
The right-angle G500-B bevel gearbox handles high permissible radial forces and offers closely stepped ratios with low backlash. The range spans 0.25 … 7.5 kW and output torques of 8 to 4300 Nm, with ratios up to i = 2950 in 2-, 3- and 4-stage designs.
