The G500-H + M550-V combines the IE6 M550-V motor with a G500-H helical gearbox. Top-level IE6 efficiency to IEC TS 60034-30-2 (Grade 1 to GB 30253-2024 for China) comes in the same footprint as an IE3 drive, cutting energy demand and the resulting CO₂ emissions throughout operation.
The package is optimized for sensorless operation with the i510/i550 cabinet, i550 protec and i550/i650 motec inverters and delivers up to 300% starting torque from standstill. Thanks to a market-oriented modular system the drives can be deployed worldwide and hold most common approvals, while the high efficiency class makes it easier to qualify for regional energy-efficiency incentives.
The G500-H helical gearbox is a robust, compact axial design that withstands high radial loads and offers finely graded ratios with low backlash. Available in 2-, 3- and 4-stage versions, the series covers 0.25 … 7.5 kW and 4 … 3000 Nm, with ratios up to i = 3240.
