The G500-S + MF + 8400 motec combines an MF three-phase AC motor optimized for 120 Hz inverter operation with a G500-S shaft-mounted helical gearbox and an on-motor 8400 motec inverter. MF motors are an energy-efficient option for tasks that call for a wide speed setting range from a small frame size.
Together with the on-motor 8400 motec frequency inverter it forms a coordinated system with stepless speed adjustment and meets efficiency class IE3. The series belongs to Lenze's previous product generation and is a natural fit for replacing drives in existing 8400 motec-based installations.
The G500-S shaft-mounted helical gearbox mounts directly on the machine shaft in a slim, space-saving housing, combining high radial load capacity with finely graded ratios and low backlash. Available in 2-, 3- and 4-stage versions, the series covers 0.55 … 7.5 kW and 5 … 4500 Nm, with ratios up to i = 4640.
