The G500-S + M500 + i650 motec integrates the IE3 M500 motor, a G500-S shaft-mounted helical gearbox and an on-motor i650 motec frequency inverter in a single package. The slim, space-saving unit slides straight onto the machine shaft and removes the need for a separate control-cabinet inverter where stepless speed adjustment is required.
Speed control through the integrated inverter makes the package universally applicable, from conveyors to agitators. The i650 motec extends the feature set with Logic PLC, table positioning and Safe Torque Off (STO) via CIP Safety.
The G500-S shaft-mounted helical gearbox mounts directly on the machine shaft in a slim, space-saving housing, combining high radial load capacity with finely graded ratios and low backlash. Available in 2-, 3- and 4-stage versions, the series covers 0.25 … 7.5 kW and 6 … 4500 Nm, with ratios up to i = 4640.
