The G500-S + MF + i550 motec combines an MF three-phase AC motor optimized for 120 Hz inverter operation with a G500-S shaft-mounted helical gearbox and an on-motor i550 motec inverter. MF motors are an energy-efficient option for tasks that call for a wide speed setting range from a small frame size.
Matched to the i550 motec frequency inverter, the drive system offers stepless speed adjustment without a separate cabinet inverter; shaft dimensions follow the market standard and standardized flanges are used.
The G500-S shaft-mounted helical gearbox mounts directly on the machine shaft in a slim, space-saving housing, combining high radial load capacity with finely graded ratios and low backlash. Available in 2-, 3- and 4-stage versions, the series covers 0.55 … 22 kW and 5 … 4500 Nm, with ratios up to i = 5849.
