The Lenze i510 protec is based on the same field-proven technology as Lenze's control cabinet inverters; only the housing design has been adapted. It is a versatile, dependable choice when the cabinet is short of space or when the inverter needs to sit directly on the motor in individual machine modules.
The inverter satisfies the Ecodesign requirements of EN IEC 61800-9-2. It covers 0.37 to 11 kW and is offered for mains voltages from 1 AC 120 V to 3 AC 600 V. Versions with keypad, USB module or WLAN module simplify commissioning, and CANopen and Modbus RTU are available as industry-standard fieldbus options.
Note that the IP20 version (EN 60529) may not be installed outside a control cabinet in Europe, whereas installation outside the cabinet is allowed in the USA under NEMA/UL Type 1. Typical uses are conveyor and travelling drives, pumps and fans.
