The Lenze MF is an energy-efficient three-phase AC motor designed specifically for inverter operation. Combined with an i550 motec frequency inverter mounted on the motor, it forms a compact decentralised drive covering 0.55 … 18.5 kW and 1.5 … 50 Nm.
The pairing suits tasks that need a wide speed setting range from a small motor: torque stays constant over a setting range of up to 1:24, and the drive responds more dynamically than a conventional three-phase AC motor. Efficiency is above class IE2, and the motors are optimised for use as geared motors with g500 gearboxes.
B3, B5, B9 and B14 mounting designs are available, and resolver, absolute value encoder or incremental encoder can be selected as feedback.
