The PGR PCS series consists of parallel-axis helical gearboxes developed for crane applications lifting up to 60 tonnes. Their quiet, compact housing and easy servicing make them a dependable choice for crane builders.
The range covers 0.37–55 kW, 1–60 t load capacity, 0.5–32 m/min hoisting speed and ratios of 37.54–231.9. Inputs can be motor-coupled, PAM or servo motor connected; the output shaft is splined to DIN 5480-82 and a drum flange is available as an accessory. The motors used are either two-speed (2/12-pole) or single-speed with a frequency inverter, rated IP55; an additional fan is recommended for 2/12-pole motors.
Housings are made of aluminium or ductile iron (GGG 40-50), and the gears of forged 21NiCrMo2 case-hardening steel.
