The PGR PX/PPC series consists of single-stage, parallel-axis helical gearboxes developed for poultry feeding systems. Quiet, trouble-free running and a light construction make them a popular choice for feeder lines.
Housings are made of ADC-12 die-cast aluminium; the gearbox has a PAM input and can be supplied with an output shaft. Different flange sizes are available for B5 connections. The PX 031 model offers 0.55–1.10 kW, 19–24 Nm and ratios of 2.5–8.0, while the PPC 071-080 models offer 0.55–1.10 kW, 12–22 Nm and a ratio of 3.0.
Gears are made of forged 21NiCrMo2 case-hardening steel, and strength calculations are based on ISO, DIN and NIEMANN standards.
