The PGR PYK series is developed for horizontal, vertical and inclined feed mixing systems used on cattle, sheep and goat farms. High resistance to heavy and fluctuating loads and a wide ratio range make it an ideal drive for TMR (total mixed ration) machines.
Input and output shafts can be coaxial, parallel or at 90°, and the gearbox is housing-mounted. Input options such as PAM, W, gear shift and direction-changing units are available, together with solid shaft and DIN splined outputs. The series covers feed mixers with capacities of 0.5–20 m³.
Rigid housings are made of ductile iron (GGG 40-50) or grey cast iron (GG 20-25), and the gears of forged 21NiCrMo2 case-hardening steel.
