The PGR PKD series consists of helical and bevel gear units with a 90° angle between the input and output shafts. They serve as the drive solution for various heavy-load conveyors where the direction of motion has to be turned through a right angle.
The series covers 0.12–200 kW, 3–64400 Nm and output speeds of 0.1–380 rpm. Foot-mounted and housing-mounted versions are available. Options include motor-coupled, IEC, PAM, W and servo motor inputs; solid shaft, hollow shaft or shrink disc outputs; and accessories such as B5 and B14 flanges, torque arms and platforms.
Rigid housings are made of ductile iron (GGG 40-50) or grey cast iron (GG 20-25), and the gears of forged 21NiCrMo2 case-hardening steel.
