The PGR PMRVPLUS/PRVPLUS series consists of worm gearboxes with a 90° angle between input and output shafts, designed for drive systems with low torques and uniform loads. Besides quiet running, they stand out for their lightweight, high-strength and modern housings.
A single housing can be foot-mounted or flange-mounted; it is rigid and designed for good heat dissipation. PAM B5 and PAM B14 inputs, solid or hollow output shafts, and B5 flange, B14 flange and torque arm accessories are offered. The series covers 0.06–15 kW, 2–2000 Nm and output speeds of 0.3–290 rpm.
Worms are made of 16MnCr5 case-hardening steel and wheels of CuSn12Ni-C bronze. Housings are ADC-12 aluminium die-cast up to size 105 and grey cast iron (GG 20-25) from size 110 upwards.
