The Rehfuss KSN is a bevel-helical gearbox built entirely from stainless steel for food, pharmaceutical and beverage applications where hygiene is critical. It is based on the KS210, a compact drive unit for highly dynamic tasks that was developed around the requirements of servo motor operation.
Generously sized bearings and a robust tooth design ensure high operational reliability. The housing with an integrated square output flange is very rigid, and its symmetrical inline shape allows installation in any position. The output is available as a solid or hollow shaft, optionally with a clamping set. A torsionally stiff servo motor coupling, an interchangeable flange system, external stainless steel screws and a smooth housing surface make cleaning easy in washdown areas.
Offering 92% efficiency at full load, < 6 arcmin backlash and IP65 protection, the KSN can be combined with Rehfuss SBH, SBE and N stainless steel motors.
