Alongside its stainless steel motors, Rehfuss has long offered a complete range of aluminium smooth body motors. SBA motors are designed for applications where cleaning, hygiene and the avoidance of dirt-trapping edges are important, and they provide a more economical choice when the motor does not need to be stainless steel.
The aluminium housing is coated with a robust, hygienic paint system whose surface quality is chosen to prevent germ formation. The smooth, round inline housing is easy to clean, and IP66 protection suits washdown applications. The position of the radial cable entry can be set in 4 × 90° steps during installation. Winding and insulation are optimised for mains or frequency inverter operation, and the motor meets efficiency class IE3.
Rehfuss has been an EHEDG member since 2017. Available in sizes 63–71 with 0.15–0.37 kW, the SBA can be combined with all Rehfuss gearbox types.
