The Rehfuss SMN IP69K is a drive system that pairs a stainless steel gearbox and a stainless steel motor with a hygienic shaft sealing solution. In the IP69K rating, 6 stands for dust-tightness, 9 for protection against high-pressure or steam-jet cleaning at close range and K for the high temperature of the water used.
Thanks to the hygienic shaft seal, the gearbox can be cleaned with high-pressure washers and aggressive media in Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes. A seal design without dead space, materials matched to the application, a hygienic design based on EHEDG guidelines and FDA compliance meet the demands of the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
The housing and shaft are stainless steel, NSF H1 approved food-grade lubricant is used and the drive works independently of the mounting position. It is available with Rehfuss SBE, SBH or N stainless steel motors, either directly mounted or in a coupling version.
