Unimotion PNCE is a series of electric cylinders driven by a precision ball screw. Based on the ISO 15552 standard, its outer design and dimensions closely match pneumatic cylinders, so existing pneumatic axes can be converted to electric drive without changing the mounting elements. A ball nut with reduced backlash and an anti-rotation piston rod deliver high speeds, good positioning accuracy and high repeatability.
The series comes in sizes 32, 40, 50, 63, 80 and 100. Screw options from Ø12 × 5 mm to Ø40 × 40 mm provide axial loads up to 29,000 N, speeds up to 2.5 m/s, strokes up to 1,500 mm and 20 m/s² acceleration. For a long service life, the cylinder can be re-lubricated via a grease nipple.
The standard version offers IP40 protection. The IP65 version uses a pressure compensation connection to keep out dust and water, and the IP65CR version adds high corrosion resistance with stainless components. The FI version, with H1-class lubricant and smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces, targets food and beverage applications. ISO standard accessories, the GUH guiding unit, the VK motor adapter and the MSD motor side drive complete the system.
