The Unimotion CTJ series consists of compact linear units that combine a toothed belt drive with two parallel, integrated zero-backlash rail guides. The hard-anodised aluminium profile, precision-extruded from AL 6063 alloy, delivers high load capacity and a motion sequence well suited to moving large masses at high speed. The units are easy to combine into multi-axis systems and stand out for their price/performance ratio and short delivery times.
The drive uses a pre-tensioned AT polyurethane toothed belt reinforced with steel cords. Together with a zero-backlash drive pulley, it transmits high moments under alternating loads with good positioning accuracy, low wear and low noise. Running inside the profile slot, the belt also shields the internal components from dust and dirt.
Short (S) and long (L) carriages feature a lubrication port and allow additional accessories to be attached; re-lubrication is also possible through maintenance holes on the side of the profile. T-slots in the profile are used to fix the unit and to mount sensors and switches. CTJ comes in sizes 90, 110, 145 and 200, in lengths up to 6000 mm, with a range of motor and gearbox adaptation options.
