ADV200-LC is the liquid-cooled version of the WEG ADV200 series. Coolant flowing through the heatsink plate carries the heat of the power electronics out of the enclosure, so the drive stays far more compact than an air-cooled model of the same rating and the temperature rise inside the panel is limited.
The series offers single units from 30 to 400 kW at 380–480 V AC, and 800, 900 and 1,200 kW ratings through master/slave parallel connection. Open-loop and closed-loop vector control as well as V/f modes are available for asynchronous motors, with high overload capacity for synchronous motors. The EMC filter is integrated across the range, the DC choke up to 200 kW and the braking module up to 90 kW.
Integrated STO compliant with SIL3 / PLe, an IEC 61131-3 PLC environment, RS485 Modbus-RTU and optional fieldbuses such as EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT and CANopen suit the ADV200-LC to demanding duties in plastics processing, mining, tunnel boring and pumping stations.
