CFW320 is a compact WEG mini drive developed for precise and easy control of three-phase induction motors. Power enters at the top and the motor output leaves at the bottom, so it is wired like a contactor inside the panel and can be mounted side by side in tight enclosures.
The drive offers a choice between WEG voltage vector control (VVW) and scalar (V/f) control. A built-in keypad, SoftPLC programmed with the free WPS software, 4 digital inputs, 1 analogue input and 1 relay output are standard. Of the two independent slots, one is for communication and the other for an I/O expansion module; Modbus RTU, BACnet, CANopen, Profibus DP, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP options are available.
All boards are conformal coated to IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C2, and heavy-duty rating with 150% overload for 60 seconds is standard. A flash memory module copies parameters to several unpowered drives, and a C2/C3 RFI filter is available as an accessory.
