CFW900 is WEG's new-generation high-performance variable speed drive for industrial machines and processes. It provides precise torque and speed control of induction and permanent magnet motors and is positioned as the successor to the CFW11.
The standard product includes a built-in RFI filter, dual DC link chokes, RS-485 (Modbus RTU) and dual Ethernet ports (EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP). STO and SS1 safety functions at SIL3 / PLe level remove the need for external safety relays. Thanks to the MQTT protocol, the drive can send data directly to the WEG Motion Fleet Management platform.
A graphic keypad with Bluetooth, real-time clock, event log, 8 GB industrial microSD card and advanced SoftPLC are standard. Intelligent thermal management adjusts the switching frequency to load, supply voltage and ambient temperature to avoid trips at high temperatures. Control modes include scalar, VVW, sensorless and closed-loop vector, and VVW PM.
