PGR PL/PLB series planetary gearboxes achieve high reduction ratios in a small volume. Their compact, modular construction carries torques of up to 850000 Nm, making them a solution for drive systems with heavy and varying loads.
Input and output shafts can be coaxial or at 90°, with foot or flange mounting. Compared with other gearbox types of similar torque, they need a smaller housing. Inputs for IEC, hydraulic and servo motors are offered alongside PTO and splined shaft inputs, while outputs include solid shafts, shrink discs and DIN splined shafts. The series covers 0.12–90 kW, 460–850000 Nm and output speeds of 0.1–410 rpm.
Housings are cast in ductile iron (GGG 50-60), and the gears are made of forged 21NiCrMo2 case-hardening steel.
